Submit

If you would like to submit any graphics to Eviternal.net, please first consider the following guidelines:

Avatars

  • The avatar must have been made by you. No avatars claiming to be submitted "for someone" will be accepted under any circumstances. Similarly, if you see an avatar here that is yours that you did not submit, do not hesitate to e-mail me to take it off or change the credit.
  • Your avatar must be of a standard avatar size, that is, a square that is either 50x50, 60x60, or 100x100. I will consider accepting other sizes of avatars, but they must be a square.
  • The avatar must be in either .jpg, .png, or .gif format. For non-animated avatars, .png format is preferred as these avatars are of higher quality. Feel free to submit animated avatars.
  • Please do not use any images or brushes/textures/etc that must be credited on every page they appear as only the avatar creator is credited. If you still wish to submit such an avatar, the credit link should be to a page which has such websites credited.
If you feel your avatar follows these guidelines, send an e-mail to elliot.tedra@gmail.com with the subject "Eviternal: Avatar" and containing the following:
  • Your avatar as an attachment
  • Your name or internet handle
  • The url or e-mail address that you would like credited
Note: If you have more than one submission, please make separate e-mails for each submission, unless the information for all of them is the same.

Banners

  • As above, the banners must have been made by you.
  • Banners may include almost anything, including but not limited to: website banners, blog banners, forum signatures, "i love ______" banners, etc. If you have something banner-like (ie. something that is only one image requiring no external documents to make it function), please submit it in this category.
  • Banners can be any size, but it is asked that you make a 120x70 (width being 120) preview with no border.
  • Banners must be in .jpg, .png, or .gif format.
  • Please do not use any images or brushes/textures/etc that must be credited on every page they appear as only the banner creator is credited. If you still wish to submit such an banner, the credit link should be to a page which has such websites credited.
If you feel your banner follows these guidelines, send an e-mail to elliot.tedra@gmail.com with the subject "Eviternal: Banner" and containing the following:
  • Your banner and its preview as an attachment
  • The exact size of your banner, with width first and height second
  • What your banner should be generally used for (eg. signature, website banner, etc)
  • Your name or internet handle
  • The url or e-mail address that you would like credited

Wallpapers

  • Again, the wallpapers must have been made by you.
  • Wallpapers must be of a standard size for any operating system. The most common are 800x600, 1024x768, 1152x864, and 1280x960. With new computers, 800x600 has become rather obsolete.
  • It is asked that you have more than one size of wallpaper included in your submission. One of these must be 1024x768 or higher, regardless of your computer's resolution.
  • Wallpapers must include a 200x150 (200 being the width) preview with no border. This is a 1024x768 wallpaper at 20% of its original size.
  • The wallpaper should be in .jpg or .png format. Please do not submit animated wallpapers.
  • Please do not use any images or brushes/textures/etc that must be credited on every page they appear as only the wallpaper creator is credited. If you still wish to submit such an wallpaper, the credit link should be to a page which has such websites credited.
If you feel your wallpaper follows these guidelines, send an e-mail to elliot.tedra@gmail.com with the subject "Eviternal: Wallpaper" and containing the following:
  • Your wallpapers (at least two of different sizes) and its preview an attachment
  • The sizes of your wallpapers, with width first and height second.
  • Your name or internet handle
  • The url or e-mail address that you would like credited

Other

This is a toughy, because there're so many things it could be.
  • If you have something that does not fit into any of the previous categories that you would like to submit, please submit them here.
  • Whatever it is must have been made by you. If something happens to be a joint venture (eg. A layout that one person designed and another coded), both of you will be credited.
  • For Layouts: All layouts must work in at least IE and Firefox, as these are the two most common browsers. All layouts must also work in as low as 1024x768 resolution, but don't have to work in 800x600. Please note that even if your computer does not support certain CSS styles, some others might (and the normal windows scrollbar is usually quite ugly). In your submission, please include a .zip file containing all the required files for your layout, as well as a 200x150 preview with no border. Any additional credits needed for the layout can be added on the layout itself.
  • For Media Player Skins: Please indicate what media player your skin is for, an include a read me file that explains how to install for that particular player. All files required for the skin should be in a single .zip file, as well as a 200x150 preview with no border.
  • Anything Else: (including boot screens, screen savers, program icons, toolbars, start buttons, sidebars, etc) Include all required files in a .zip file with a read me file explaining how to use it, as well as a 200x150 preview with no border (for icons, the preview should display the variety contained in the set).
If you have something to share that falls under these guidelines, send an e-mail to elliot.tedra@gmail.com with the subject "Eviternal: Other" and containing the following information:
  • The .zip file containing all the required files and the preview as an attachment
  • What your submission is for (is it a screen saver, boot screen, layout, etc)
  • The operating system (if applicable) that your submission is for
  • Your name or internet handle
  • The url or e-mail address you would like credited
